Wolves react swiftly to deal with a racist Wolves fan vs Newcastle

Racist Wolves fan vs Newcastle

Wolves fans have singled out one of their own supporters for unacceptable racism during the Newcastle match on Monday night.

According to multiple reports on social media, the offending Wolves fan was hurling verbal abuse at Adama Traore.

It’s claimed that Traore was called a “black c***” by the Wolves supporter.

The incident unfolded in the Temporary Stand at Molineux.

According to eye-witness reports, the Wolves fans eventually left the Newcastle game “under pressure when South Bank turned on him.”

Wolves react swiftly

The incident has been flagged up to Wolves’ managing director Laurie Dalrymple.

Dalrymple has reacted quickly to the claims of racism, and the process of identifying the Wolves fan is now underway.

Will Wolves issue the supporter with a life ban?

That seems likely as the club’s MD confirmed that Wolves have a “ZERO tolerance policy with regards to racism.”
