Richarlison will be going nowhere
Everton are set to turn down any bids for Brazilian forward Richarlison this summer after the player was the subject of several offers in the January window.
It’s safe to say that Richarlison has been a hit at Goodison Park since signing from Watford.
Marco Silva moved to sign his former player as soon as he joined Everton, completing a reunion of great expectation.
Despite a dip in form since January, the Brazilian has lived up expectations, scoring 12 goals in the Premier League.
His performances have seemingly attracted the attention of several top clubs with reports now suggesting that Everton rejected offers for him in January.
Who made offers for him in January?
According to Sky Sports, Everton ‘rebuffed offers in January, which would have provided a significant profit on the £40m they paid Watford for the 22-year old in the summer’.
There’s no indication of who made those offers but AC Milan are named as a club who have a long-standing interest in Richarlison.
Sky Sports even say Gennaro Gattuso wants Milan to sign Richarlison this summer.
Though, Everton ‘look set to turn down offers from a number of Europe’s top clubs including AC Milan’ in the summer according to Sky.
If Richarlison continues to impress, it may only be a matter of time before Everton have to accept an offer.
