Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that the Reds could be without three players against Fulham.
Klopp’s side could return to the top of the Premier League on Sunday with a win at Craven Cottage.
However, Klopp’s latest injury update on his squad hands Liverpool a slight midfield dilemma this weekend.
Klopp has ruled Henderson out of Liverpool’s clash with Fulham due to a hamstring injury.
The 28-year-old was forced off early during the Reds’ clash with Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
The German manager claims Henderson will be looking to return after the international break.
“We have to see. With Hendo, we’ve made further assessments.
“It’s serious enough to rule him out for the weekend but the international break will hopefully be long enough to bring him back.
“It’s a little one with his ankle. It was the best scan we could get I’d say but still not good enough. Not good but okay.
Keita is in contention to feature on Sunday but despite positive assessments, a late call will be made over the midfielder’s fitness.
“With Naby, we will see if he’s okay to train today.
“A couple of checks have been positive but we will have to see if it stays positive when he goes outside.”
Finally, Oxlade-Chamberlain remains on the comeback trail with after the international break seemingly the target.
“Ox, I’ve heard nothing knew about it. There’s no rush now.
“For sure after the international break he will be 100 per cent fit.”
