Liverpool’s injury updates
On Saturday, the Evening Standard has forecasted what Liverpool’s squad could look like by the time the Tottenham match comes around.
Liverpool have been suffering from significant injury problems of late, especially at the back.
However Jurgen Klopp’s squad is returning to full fitness.
Joe Gomez could return to action imminently after three months out. Trent Alexander-Arnold missed England international duty, however the right back should also be fit for Spurs.
Moving into midfielder, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is finally back with the first team after a knee injury last summer.
While on Xherdan Shaqiri and Naby Keita, who both pulled out of international duty with injury, the news is good too:
They are not expected to be facing lengthy lay-offs, and could even return for the visit of Tottenham to Anfield on March 31 should they recover as quickly as hoped.
Tottenham & Eric Dier
Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier picked up an injury in England’s 5-0 win over Czech Republic.
Dier has been sent back to Spurs for treatment.
