On-loan Arsenal midfielder Denis Suarez has taken to Twitter to post a message to his critics.
Suarez, a versatile 25-year-old attacking midfielder/winger, joined Arsenal in January, following a disappointing two-and-a-half year spell on the books of Barcelona.
The Spaniard made the move to the Emirates for the remainder of the campaign, with Arsenal holding an option to make his signing permanent in the summer.

However, to say that Suarez’s stint in North London has since proven a disappointment would be something of an understatement.
To this point, the former Villarreal star has managed just 6 appearances across all competitions in Arsenal’s colours, all of which have come from the bench.
As things stand, all of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Alex Iwobi, Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey sit firmly ahead of Suarez in the attacking midfield/winger pecking order at the Emirates, with little indication having been forthcoming that the situation is set to change any time soon.
In fact, Charles Watts of Football.London yesterday provided an insight into the former Manchester City youth’s struggles in England thus far, seemingly confirming that the Arsenal board have no intention of purchasing Suarez outright at the end of the season:
‘He’s just not been good enough. Simple as that really.’
‘He clearly hasn’t done enough in training to convince Emery he should be starting. And he hasn’t done enough on the pitch to suggest he deserves more minutes.’
‘I can’t see any way that Suarez will still be here next season.’
As such, Suarez’s lack of impact has unsurprisingly resulted in the midfielder being singled out for criticism of late.
The once-capped Spanish international, though, yesterday took to social media to hit back at his critics.
In a post on his official Twitter page, Suarez showcased a series of highlights of him hard at work in training with the rest of the Arsenal squad, accompanied by the caption:
‘Working hard, learning and improving.’
Crucially, though, the Barcelona outcast also added:
‘Don’t talk about my workouts if you have no idea.’
