Serie A giants Juventus look set to be without the services of star defender and captain Giorgio Chiellini when they take on Ajax tomorrow night.
Juventus vs Ajax
Max Allegri’s men are set to welcome Eredivisie table-toppers Ajax to Turin, for the second-leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie between the clubs.
Hosts Juve will head into proceedings holding the slender advantage of an away goal, having picked up a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture in Amsterdam last week.
Cristiano Ronaldo found the net for the Bianconeri on the stroke of half-time, before David Neres’ took full advantage of Joao Cancelo’s mistake less than 60 seconds after the restart to see the spoils shared.

Juventus’ draw at the Johan Cruijff ArenA came despite the Italian champions having lined-out without a pair of key starters.
The duo in question were Giorgio Chiellini and Emre Can, both of whom missed out after picking up late injuries in the days leading up to the clash.
Chiellini and Can also went on to miss the Old Lady’s defeat at SPAL on Saturday, though an update from Sky Italia yesterday afternoon suggested that Juve were confident regarding the chances of both players returning to fitness in time to take on Ajax.
There is optimism to get Chiellini & Can ready for the Ajax game. Douglas is likely to miss the game.

As per the aforementioned report from the reliable Gianluca Di Marzio, though, Chiellini has not recovered in time for tomorrow night.
The Italian did not feature in Juventus training today.
Emre Can, though, did take part, along with fellow doubt Douglas Costa.
