Liverpool 2019-20 home kit leaked
Brand new pictures of Liverpool’s home kit for the 2019-20 season have been posted online.
As is always the case with such leaks, Liverpool fans will have to trust that these images are accurate of the club’s new merchandise.
That said, the images have been released by a couple of the leading social media accounts who are purely focused on kit designs.
Sticking to tradition, Liverpool’s home kit will again be red.
However the details of the strip are in tribute to club legend Bob Paisley.
Bob Paisley & Liverpool’s 1982-85 kit
Bob Paisley spent almost half a century at Liverpool as a player, coach and eventually the club’s manager.
During his days at Anfield, Paisley established himself as one of the most successful English football manager of all time.
In nine years as Liverpool’s manager, Paisley won three European Cups, a Uefa Cup, six League titles and three League Cups.
During that time Liverpool wore a classic red shirt with think white vertical lines. The Liverpool crest and Umbro logo were stitched in yellow.
Current kit manufacturers New Balance are replicating that old design in next year’s kit.
Moreover, in the inside of the collar, the Liverpool kit directly references Bob Paisley.
