Liverpool have been tipped to make just two changes against FC Porto from the side that beat Chelsea on the weekend.
Jurgen Klopp will be taking no risks in Portugal this evening despite his side leading the tie 2-0.
The Reds take on Cardiff City on Sunday meaning they will have plenty of time in order to recuperate.
Paul Joyce: Liverpool likely line-up vs FC Porto
Naby Keita, who has been hugely impressive as of late, is set to be replaced by James Milner.
Klopp hands the Guinean midfielder a rest having started in all of Liverpool’s last three.
Following a slow start, he has finally started to fulfil his promise becoming an integral play for the Merseyside club.
Meanwhile, Jordon Henderson will make way for Georginio Wijnaldum.
Liverpool legend, John Aldridge, says the same as Paul Joyce in the Liverpool Echo:
“I think Wijnaldum will play, I think Fabinho will play and I think Milner will play.
I think that will be the midfield. It’s healthy, he can rest Jordan Henderson and Keita in midfield.
“Wijnaldum’s had a little rest.
We’re not stretched in midfield and upfront the three lads are keeping fit. That’s so important.”
Champions League review: Liverpool 2-0 FC Porto
Goals from Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino hand give Liverpool a healthy lead ahead of this evening’s second leg.
The Reds will know that an away goal could prove decisive with Porto needing to respond with four.
The winner of the tie will take on FC Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals.
