Man Utd star Paul Pogba drops Real Madrid transfer hint and fans are furious
Paul Pogba has been openly trying to leave Manchester United and a transfer to Real Madrid was mooted throughout the summer
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had his transfer window in charge and he has made some big changes.
Just under £150m was spent on three players in Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.
It comes after the Norwegian endorsed young, British talents to become the biggest influence on his Manchester United revolution.
But there have also been some departures, with Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Chris Smalling among those who have left.
However, one player that was touted to leave all summer was Paul Pogba – but after the European transfer window deadline passed last night it looks like he is hanging around.
That was not the Frenchman’s plan, who has stated that he is looking for a new challenge after just three years at Old Trafford.
And though he has got his head down since those comments earlier in the summer, his intentions appear to be the same.
Pogba was seen ‘liking’ a comment on one of his Instagram posts appearing to come from a Real Madrid fan.
The message said: “Please come to Madrid”, along with the hashtag Hala Madrid.
The action was quickly discovered by United fans online and they have been less than happy with the former Juventus man.
One fan said: “Three certainties in life: Death. Taxes. Paul Pogba entertaining a move away during the international break.”
Another said: “Ole tried all his best to offload the bad apples but l still feel he missed Pogba and Matic. But anyways, I hope he does that in the next window.”
While this fan said: “Hate to say it but pogba is a bad influence.”
“Toxic player mourinho was always right,” another quipped.
Pogba has recently pulled out of the France international squad through injury and a timescale has yet to be made on his return.
